Women

Women

The women of Church by the Bridge and St Augustine’s encourage each other to know Jesus and live for Him.

Over the course of the year we hold events to help women to draw closer to God in prayer, grow in their understanding of the Bible and build relationships with other women.

Women of every age and stage of life meet together and participate in a variety of ministries.  Key to our fellowship are Connect Groups, that provide an opportunity for in-depth small-group bible study, training in Christian living and doctrines, purposeful, accountable relationships and mutual support and prayer.

Our Women's Connect Groups meet on Tuesday morning at Kirribilli and Wednesday morning at Neutral Bay, over the course of the year during term time. However there are also opportunities for women to meet in the evening in regular Connect Groups or participate in specific 'Connect Living' courses, for the duration of the course (looking at areas such as living a life of significance, finding freedom in trusting Jesus, strengthening your faith, depending on God in everyday life etc).  For information about Connect Groups please visit the Connect Groups page of our website here.

Our First Time Mums group meets the first Thursday of each month.

Our Refresh: Women's Half Day Prayer Retreats, provide an opportunity for women in small groups and individually, to stop, read God's word, pray and spend time with other women from church over lunch.

Our half day Refuel: Women's Teaching & Worship afternoon, is aimed at helping women spiritually refuel through a time of learning from other women and lifting voices in song to God.

We also hold special events aimed at introducing women to the good news of Jesus in an engaging and comfortable way, including our Christmas Wreath / Gingerbread House decorating events.
