TIME: 2.30pm-4.30pm
LOCATION: Church by the Bridge Kirribilli

Are you or someone you know experiencing separation or divorce, looking for support by meeting others who have experienced something similar, and to be given an opportunity to share, listen, and think through how to heal in a supportive, Christian environment?

At Divorce Care groups, people experiencing separation and divorce find tools, teaching and support, to help them deal with their pain and give them hope for the future. Divorce Care helps you face the challenges of this often confusing, stressful and isolating time and move toward rebuilding your life.

This 8-week Christ-centred program addresses divorce-related concerns, such as how long is this pain going to last?  Will I survive?  Are these feelings I’m having normal?  Where is God in all this?  You’ll gain insights on how to handle though emotions, such as anger, depression and loneliness. Over the eight weeks topics covered include: What’s happening to me?; Facing my anger; Facing my depression; Facing my loneliness; What does the owner’s manual say?; New relationships; Forgiveness; Reconciliation.

Please join us on Sunday afternoons, commencing 7th February, 2.30pm-4.30pm at Church by the Bridge Kirribilli. The cost is $40 for the 8 weeks.

You can sign up & pay here. If you would like to ask any questions prior to signing up to the course, please email our Wellbeing & Care Director, Betsy Rodgers, here.

This course will be facilitated by people who have experienced divorce first hand and are committed to supporting others through this difficult season.  They are members of our church family. If you feel that this course would be of benefit to you or someone you would like to support through this difficult season, please do sign up. Numbers are limited.

DATE: Tuesday 19th January
TIME: 7.30pm for 7.45pm start until 9.15pm
LOCATION: In the Church at St Augustine's Neutral Bay

We are all good at speaking about the things that are important to us – our work, our holidays, good coffee, a new child. But why are Christians unnaturally timid at speaking about Christ? To set the scene for our 2021 Year of Loving Your Neighbour, our How to Share Your Testimony workshop is a 90 minute training seminar to help better equip you in sharing your faith with the people in your lives. Run by Ed Yorston, this practical workshop will resource you with gospel explaining tools, as well as an opportunity to formulate answers to those 2 or 3 questions you fear your friends might ask you.

Please join us on Tuesday 19th January, in the church at St Augustine’s Neutral Bay. No need to book. Just turn up & sign in via QR code.
