To the ends of the earth

Great news gets out (Acts)
10 April 2011
Mark Smith
Acts 27-28

Acts closes with the Apostle Paul still waiting trial before Caesar. But under house arrest in Rome he ‘boldly and without hindrance preached the kingdom of God and taught about the Lord Jesus’. Paul was filled with a passion to proclaim Christ. Contrast that to the many Christians these days who seem weary and worn. How do we, who feel stretched to the max, move to passionately proclaiming Christ? In Acts 27-28, we are encouraged to grasp how God is in control – even over the discouragements.
