“Let us not give up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing, but let us encourage one another” (Hebrews 10:25).

Men’s ministry at Church by the Bridge aims to provide opportunities for men to get to know each other better and grow in their knowledge of God.

Men’s Events

At Church by the Bridge, men’s events are designed to encourage men across all the congregations to meet together and fellowship with one another through social and spiritual events.

These events are designed to encourage the men to simply get together and support one another as brothers in Christ Jesus. Many are also designed for people to bring along friends who may not have much contact with Christians so that they can see and hear about Jesus in a non-threatening environment.

The events in 2011 are:

- 24 February - night on prayer
- 14 May - bowling
- 4 August - teaching event (taming the tongue)
- 19 November - men and meat (outreach event)
- 9 December - BYO BBQ at The Oaks
