Baptisms/Dedications
At Church by the Bridge we offer the following:
- Adult baptism (full immersion or ‘sprinkling’) – for those who have committed their lives to Jesus in repentance & faith.
- Infant baptism – for children of believing parents who are able to declare their commitment to Christ & their commitment to bring up the child in the ways of the Lord, and who understand the Scriptures to include infants in baptism.
- Dedication – for children of believing parents, to thank God for his blessing of children, to welcome the child into the church family, to recognize the serious responsibility of parenting, and for the church to commit to support & pray for the family.
- Thanksgiving – the opportunity to thank God for the birth of the child and to name the child.
