Connect Groups are all about making every member of church a mature and active disciple of the Lord Jesus Christ, as well as a meaningful way of doing life together as God’s family.
If you are still exploring Christianity, the best place for you to start is with one of our ‘Explore’ courses. Once you have done the course, chat to your leaders about what is the best next step for you.
If you are new to church, it would be great to attend one of our Belonging Courses before joining a Connect Group. This course is designed to introduce you to Church by the Bridge and all that we are about.
Connect Groups, provide an opportunity for:-
in-depth small-group bible study;
training in Christian living and doctrines;
purposeful, accountable relationships and
mutual support and prayer.
Connect Groups meet weekly during term time, either in a Connect Group leader or member’s home, or at church. Connect Groups are also encouraged to attend the monthly Central Prayer meeting together, on the 1st Wednesday of each month.
Most Connect Groups meet on a Tuesday or Wednesday evening and there are groups for men, women and mixed men & women. Women’s morning Connect Groups meet on a Tuesday (Kirribilli) or Wednesday (Neutral Bay).
Groups are usually formed of people from the same congregation where possible. Women’s Morning Connect Groups that meet at church, also have an opportunity to get to know people from different congregations.
Connect Groups are a great way to deepen your relationship with God and with others in your church family. If you’d like to ask a question or sign up to a Connect Group, please take the ‘next step’ below.
