Where is God in the disaster?

2011 has been a disastrous year. In the wake of floods, quakes & tsunamis, big questions are asked of God – by both believers & unbelievers. Where is God in the disaster? Doesn’t He see? Doesn’t He care? Why doesn’t He do something? In the face of disaster, the Bible is clear: God sees, God cares & God rules. But exactly where He is in the disaster & what he is doing depends vitally on the perspective we are asking from. Whether we are grieving, confused, fearful or sceptical – God is there.
