Security that can’t be shaken

Luke 21

In a world of insecurity, Jesus makes this controversial promise: ‘Heaven & earth will pass away, but my words will never pass away’ (Luke 21.33).

In Luke 21, Jesus shakes the confidence of the spiritually secure – for even God’s temple was to be judged. Christ calls for us to look carefully at the ongoing signs of instability that surround us. Only in His words can we have lasting security.
