What is wrong with our world? War, famine, death, disease - just to name a few. We are all aware that this world is not paradise. This next section of Revelation reveals that comfort is not the norm for most Christians - in fact, suffering and persecution is a common experience. The cry goes out “how long until you avenge our blood”? To the Christian under-going suffering because of their faith, it is a great assurance to know that God will judge. Paul draws out seven comforts for those who are in Christ.
