Recognising God’s kindness

We are quick to spot injustices – but do we see the kindness as easily? How would you know if God was being kind to you?

Ruth is a book of kindness. In chapter 1, Naomi’s bitterness blinded her to seeing it, but as the story rolls on we are drawn to Ruth & Boaz. Ruth knows herself to be an outsider – looking for favour & kindness. Boaz understands what it is to be a gracious insider & is lavishly kind. As we see these two interact, the very kindness of God is revealed to us all.
